B2E launched Aquaculture Myths Campaign and reached more than 12K people
The campaign is based on short videos published on social media
“Oh No! After all, It’s a Myth!” is the name of the first B2E campaign to unveil National and European aquaculture myths, launched to mark the European Day of the Sea (May 20), and that gathered more than 12k views in just seven weeks.
The campaign was based on short videos, each one explaining one of the most common prejudices surrounding seafood production with science-based facts. The initiative was presented at CoLAB’s website, social media, and traditional media, namely at Revista Visão and Público.
B2E’s strong vision and mission of supporting sustainable aquaculture, while boosting Portuguese Blue Bioeconomy was at the center of this idea, as all of us heard many times people contesting the quality, nutritional value, or taste of aquaculture seafood… and that’s just a myth!
“Oh No! After all, It’s a Myth!” was developed exclusively by the CoLAB’s team. A new campaign will be out very soon.
