“Choose Blue, Live Green”: Blue Wink-E 2024 is coming!

What are the emerging trends in sustainable consumption that can be explored with marine products? How can the marketing of blue bioeconomy products align with the values and concerns of today’s consumers? What are the main challenges companies face when launching new blue bioeconomy products, and which market opportunities seem most promising for these products? These are just some of the questions discussed at Blue Wink-E 2024, on October 25, at the Infante D. Henrique Auditorium in Matosinhos.

Blue Wink-E 2024 aims to bring together experts, entrepreneurs, researchers, and enthusiasts to discuss innovative strategies that promote the sustainable use of marine resources. The event seeks to raise community awareness of the advantages of the blue bioeconomy, encouraging adopting practices that protect the environment and foster economic growth.

This year’s theme, ‘Choose Blue, Live Green,’ reflects our commitment to sustainability and innovation,” explains Maria Coelho, coordinator of B2E CoLAB, emphasizing that the event “is an important space for knowledge sharing,” but also “an opportunity to address the challenges in the blue bioeconomy sector.”

The program includes two roundtables that promise to address crucial topics for the sector. The first roundtable, “Winning the Consumer: Strategies in the Blue Bioeconomy,” will focus on best communication and marketing practices to captivate the public and promote products derived from the blue bioeconomy. The second roundtable, “Challenges and Opportunities: Blue Bioeconomy Products in the Market,” will address innovation and sustainability, discussing the opportunities and challenges of introducing new products to the market.

Blue Wink-E is a unique moment to promote dialogue among various stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, researchers, government representatives, investors, and consumers. This event will also provide networking opportunities and tasting of sustainable food products.

The full program will be announced soon.
