B2E – Blue Bioeconomy CoLAB has become a part of the Innovation Network of Imprensa Nacional – Casa da Moeda (the Portuguese Mint and Official Printing Office), marking the first collaborative laboratory in the blue economy sector to join this platform, which encompasses over 70 Portuguese entities. This strategic agreement signifies a significant step towards collaboration and innovation between the two entities, aiming to explore new areas of development and modernization.
With technological innovation as a current strategic pillar, Imprensa Nacional – Casa da Moeda (INCM) established an innovation network in 2016, developed in partnership with national and international universities, research centers, and startups, now joined by B2E CoLAB.
The collaboration agreement signed between the two entities establishes the mutual commitment of INCM and B2E CoLAB to collaborate in joint Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) initiatives, with the primary objective of fostering synergy between the academic, scientific, and business sectors, driving knowledge transfer and the development of innovative solutions. Moreover, the partnership includes the identification of new techniques and materials and organizing forums and workshops.
