B2E CoLAB leads round table at the ATLIC Project Launch Conference

7th December, 10.30am, at the Santo Thyrso Factory

B2E – Blue Bioeconomy CoLAB is one of the entities invited to the ATLIC – Atlantic Innoblue Communities Project Launch Conference, scheduled for next Thursday, 7th December, at 10.30 am, at the Santo Thyrso Factory. B2E CoLAB’s financial manager, Nuno Carvalho, will be one of the speakers and will discuss the challenges and opportunities surrounding entrepreneurship in the blue economy sector.

ATLIC, approved by Interreg Atlantic Area 2021 – 2027, is led by Santo Tirso City Council, with the aim of creating a pioneering blue economy innovation community in the Atlantic Area. Based on open innovation labs, knowledge transfer, capacity building and the creation of support networks to develop market solutions to common challenges, it brings together 10 different European partners from Portugal, Spain, France and Ireland.

In addition to a speech on the subject of “Blue Economy – Challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurship in the Atlantic Area”, B2E CoLAB will also moderate a round table bringing together all the project’s stakeholders. Participants will be invited to reflect on the added value of ATLIC in supporting the creation of Atlantic networks and communities in a co-operative model, involving young entrepreneurs, SMEs, education, public administration, incubators and local agents in the blue economy sector.

Participation in the conference is free, subject to registration at www.atlic.eu. For more information, contact INVEST Santo Tirso on 252 809 120 or by e-mail at invest@cm-stirso.pt.
