B2E new partnership: Ministry of Economy and Digital Transition recognizes blue economy digital innovation hub

The Portugal Blue Digital Hub is one of the 11 Digital Innovation Hubs of the National Digital Innovation Hubs Network, according to the order of the Cabinet of the Minister of State, Economy and Digital Transition, published in June.

The Polo is coordinated by Fórum Oceano – Associação da Economia do Mar, the entity responsible for managing the Portuguese Sea Cluster and our associate, and has a network of around 60 national partners, including B2E CoLAB and +Atlantic, as well as the support of international organizations.
Among the objectives are to:

• catalyze the digital transformation of the Portuguese Sea Cluster,
• by stimulating entrepreneurship and attracting foreign investment to the sector,
• promote qualification and training in digital skills, with a special focus on the development of services based on artificial intelligence,
• promote the digitization of the public sector in the Maritime area.

The next step will be the formalization of the Consortium.
