B2E CoLAB leads communication for Pep4Fish

The website is now online

The B2E – Blue Bioeconomy CoLAB takes on the responsibility for communication and dissemination of the Portuguese project Pep4Fish, developed within the scope of the Blue Bioeconomy Pact (BBP) and funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP). Recently, it coordinated the entire design of the Pep4Fish website and created its content. Now, the website is available at, allowing exploration of the objectives, methodologies, and advances achieved by the project.

Pep4Fish is an initiative aimed at exploring innovative solutions to strengthen fish production in aquaculture. By 2025, the aim is to develop diets that enhance the robustness of sea bass and sea bream, improving their resistance to stress and bacterial infections. Led by the ETSA Group, it collaborates with nine partners, including research centres and companies: AgroGrIN Tech, B2E – Blue Bioeconomy CoLAB (B2E CoLAB), CIIMAR – Interdisciplinary Centre for Marine and Environmental Research, ITS – Subproduct Transforming Industry (ETSA); Seaculture (Jerónimo Martins), Savinor and Sorgal (Soja Portugal), Sebol (ETSA) and the Catholic University of Portugal.

In addition to scientific research, the project promotes an open and collaborative approach with industrial applicability, including significant investment in companies to increase the necessary productive capacity. The Pep4Fish website allows visitors to delve into the project’s details, from the partners involved to the current results and future planned actions, providing a detailed view of the progress made. The B2E CoLAB, as the coordinator of the communication and dissemination task, has played a fundamental role in ensuring that these advances are properly communicated and shared with the general public.
