Wayne Visser, globally recognized as one of the Top 10 speakers on ESG and one of the 100 most influential personalities in social responsibility and sustainability, will be the keynote speaker at Blue Wink-E 2025 on June 6. An award-winning author and renowned professor, Wayne Visser has been honored with the Global CSR Excellence & Leadership Award and other prestigious awards for his contribution to sustainable business transformation.

With a career marked by systems transformation and business regeneration, Wayne Visser has inspired audiences in more than 80 countries with his strategies for a sustainable future.

Born in Zimbabwe and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Wayne Visser currently lives in Norfolk, England. Recognized worldwide as a leading “pracademic,” Wayne Visser is a professor at Católica Porto Business School, where he teaches Regenerative Business, Innovation, and Technology. He is also a Fellow, lecturer, and Principal Program Instructor at the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Leadership in Sustainability.

At Blue Wink-E 2025, Wayne Visser will address key topics such as innovation, regenerative leadership, and the transition to sustainable business models, focusing on the connection between the ocean and the circular economy.

The event, organized by B2E CoLAB for the Blue Bioeconomy, will take place on June 6 at the Port of Leixões Cruise Terminal in Matosinhos. Under the motto “Ocean in Loop,” Blue Wink-E 2025 will focus on the transition to a circular economy, an essential step toward building a sustainable future, in which the oceans play a central role in this transformation.

The presence of Wayne Visser reinforces Blue Wink-E 2025’s commitment to bringing innovative perspectives to the blue economy and bioeconomy, in an event that promises to be a milestone for the sector.

Blue Wink-E 2025 is supported by the Portuguese Committee for COI-UNESCO and the National Committee for the United Nations Decade of the Ocean, reinforcing its relevance in the context of international policies and initiatives for marine sustainability.
