Beach or countryside?

After more than two decades living on the windy north coast of Portugal, I’m ready for the countryside.

Swimming or sunbathing?

Swimming, without a doubt, with my 7-year-old mermaid!

Dog or cat?

I’m a dog person; I have two of the most adorable rescue dogs you’ll ever meet.

Netflix or YouTube documentaries?

Only documentaries… I’ve been watching them since I was a child. One of my best memories is watching Jacques Cousteau documentaries at the headquarters of the Povoense Naval Group in Póvoa de Varzim.

Facebook or LinkedIn?

I’m an open book, but with several chapters! Who do you want to discover? The social Marta or the professional Marta?

Aquaculture or wild fish?

I have to choose European aquaculture. The sea is our richest ecosystem, but also the most fragile. Sustainability is fundamental.

Meat or vegetables?

I confess I’m a vegetarian girl, but still very omnivorous.

Coffee or tea?

Yes, please!

Nori seaweed or sea lettuce?

Nori was a delicious culinary discovery in adulthood. The only use I ever gave to sea lettuce was when I was a child and made soup with seawater, lettuce, and sand!

Sushi or grilled fish?

Nothing beats grilled fish, good company, and the Portuguese coast.

RAS or IMTA?

Is this a tricky question? Next!!! I believe it depends on the final objective; both are extremely valid and don’t exclude each other. Did I swim??!! Where do I receive my prize? Anyone?!?
