The Science Meeting 2024, promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology, the University of Porto, and Ciência Viva, promises to be a landmark event on the national scientific calendar. This event, to be held at the Porto Customs House, will bring together experts and science enthusiasts to discuss crucial topics for the sustainable future of our society.

One of the highlights will be the session with the participation of B2E CoLAB, in partnership with +Atlantic, GreenCoLab, and S2AQUAcoLAB, moderated by Fórum Oceano. This roundtable discussion, entitled “Science and Innovation for a More Sustainable and Healthy Society,” scheduled for July 4th from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, focuses on the vital role of science and innovation in the blue bioeconomy.

Addressing the challenges of a rapidly changing world marked by population growth, technological disruption, resource scarcity, and global climate change, the Ocean CoLABs – +Atlantic CoLAB, S2AQUAcoLAB, B2E CoLAB for Blue Bioeconomy, and GreenCoLab – have joined forces to explore solutions that ensure a more sustainable and healthy future.
