Pep4Fish is a project in which B2E CoLAB is one of the partner organisations. The project focuses on developing new dietary solutions.

What is it about?

In the ever-growing demand for food is healthy, nutritious, and safe it is to drive the transformation of aquaculture on a global level. The Pep4Fish this is a collaborative project that is committed to innovation to food from the sea, and the golden and promoting practices that are more sustainable and cost-effective.

With the support of the The plan of Recovery and Resiliency the project develops new diet enriched with hydrolyzed – the true superfood – one that will improve the health and well-being of the fish in the systems of farming.

Why is that?

  • Most animal health: Fish, more durable and less prone to bacterial infections.
  • The better the quality of the fish: The end products are healthier for the consumer.
  • The innovation is applied: The use of novel ingredients with proven benefits.

Goals

  • The development of the the diets of the functional it increases the strength and resistance to stress in the bass, and bream.
  • Reducing the use of antibiotics by promoting the production of more natural, and safe and secure.
  • Stimulation of the circular economy and in the sustainability of aquaculture systems.
