The Portugal Blue Digital Hub is one of the 11 Digital Innovation Centers in the National Network of Digital Innovation Centers, according to the decree from the Office of the Minister of State for the Economy and Digital Transition, published in June.

The Hub is coordinated by Fórum Oceano – Associação da Economia do Mar (Ocean Forum – Association of the Sea Economy), the entity responsible for managing the Portuguese Maritime Cluster and our associate, and has a network of approximately 60 national partners, including B2E CoLAB and +Atlantic, in addition to the support of international organizations.

Among its objectives are:

  • to catalyze the digital transformation of the Brazilian Maritime Cluster, stimulating entrepreneurship and attracting foreign investment to the sector;
  • to promote qualification and training in digital skills, with a special focus on the development of services based on artificial intelligence;
  • to promote the digitalization of the public sector in the maritime area.

The next step will be the formalization of the Consortium.
