Sustainability, Premium Quality, Innovation, and Care for Health are some of the concepts that define Sea Eight, a world leader in sustainable processes for cultivating high-quality sole and a B2E Associate. For these reasons, and following this approach of continuous improvement, Sea Eight is regularly visited and was the natural place to host this meeting promoted by B2E. The ultimate goal? To promote synergies and explore possibilities for cooperation between the company, artificial intelligence researchers from the University of Aveiro, and NAVIA, a leading provider of operational management software for water and sanitation systems.

“It is part of B2E’s mission to encourage and support this dialogue and collaboration between our associates and companies in the sector. The ultimate goal is obviously to explore and enhance innovative solutions, and we believe that today a significant step was taken in that direction,” says Elisabete Matos, B2E’s Technical-Scientific Coordinator.

Since the creation of CoLAB, contact with all Associates and entities in the blue bioeconomy ecosystem has been prioritized, through events organized by the company itself and others. An example of these initiatives was Blue WINK-E, held in December 2021 at the University of Aveiro, precisely the event where the seeds for this visit were planted.
