B2E launched the Aquaculture Myths Campaign and reached over 12,000 people.

“Oh No! It’s a myth after all!” is the name of B2E’s first campaign to debunk national and European myths about aquaculture, launched to mark European Maritime Day (May 20th) and which garnered over 12,000 views in just seven weeks.

The campaign was based on short videos, each explaining one of the most common misconceptions surrounding seafood production with scientific facts. The initiative was presented on the CoLAB website, on social media, and in traditional media outlets, namely Visão magazine and Público newspaper.

B2E’s strong vision and mission to support sustainable aquaculture, while simultaneously promoting the Portuguese Blue Bioeconomy, was at the heart of this idea, as we have all often heard people questioning the quality, nutritional value, or taste of farmed seafood… and that’s just a myth!

“Oh No! It’s a myth after all!” was developed exclusively by the CoLAB team. A new campaign will be launched very soon. Check out the campaign:
