Pursuing its goals of restoring, sustaining, and fact-based knowledge about the oceans, B2E has joined forces with several global organizations in two initiatives: EU4Ocean and RISE UP. The EU4Ocean Coalition is a European platform for professionals to connect, collaborate, and mobilize efforts in ocean knowledge, engaging and empowering people.

RISE UP is a global initiative of priority goals and actions to put the ocean on the path to recovery, from the Blue Ocean Foundation, Ocean Unite, and Oak Foundation.

RISE UP stands for:
Restoring ocean life
Investing immediately in a net-zero carbon emissions future
Accelerating the transition to a circular and sustainable economy
Empowering and supporting coastal populations
Uniting for stronger global ocean governance
Protecting at least 30% of the ocean by 2030.
