The creation of collaborative laboratories was an initiative of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education, with the aim of promoting applied research and the development of new technologies, stimulating collaboration between the academic, business sector and other social actors. This strategy aimed to strengthen innovation in key areas, contributing to the country’s economic and social development. A collaborative laboratory is, therefore, a space where different organizations, companies and researchers work together to develop innovative solutions.
