The B2E – CoLAB for Blue Bioeconomy will be present at AQUA 2024, which will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from August 26 to 30. The event, one of the most important in the global aquaculture sector, will focus on the theme “Blue Food”, promoting healthy and sustainable food.

AQUA 2024 expects to receive more than 2,200 visitors, including key industry players. The B2E CoLAB will highlight its innovative projects, such as Pep4Fish and Fish Matter, which aim to improve fish health and the efficient and sustainable use of marine by-products.

At the B2E CoLAB booth (183), visitors will be able to explore the Ocean’s Bounty exhibit, which showcases the transformation of marine by-products into valuable resources for sectors such as textiles, cosmetics, and food. This project promotes a circular economy, making the most of available resources and driving innovation.

Furthermore, the Marine Delights: Tasting Experience will be available, a unique opportunity to sample a variety of food and beverage products made from marine by-products. This sensory experience will highlight the versatility and quality of ingredients sourced from the sea, offering participants the chance to discover new flavors and textures. Tastings will take place between August 27th and 29th.

On August 27th, at 5 pm, a Port of Honor: Toast to the Ocean! will be held, a celebration of the ocean’s riches and an opportunity to discuss the innovations shaping the future of aquaculture.

The B2E CoLAB stand will also offer the B2E CoLAB Trivial Challenge, a quiz about the marine world. Visitors can test their knowledge of sustainability, aquaculture, and the use of marine by-products. Winners will be awarded Portuguese canned goods.

The B2E CoLAB booth 183 at AQUA 2024 will be a meeting point for those interested in discovering how the organization is transforming aquaculture and promoting sustainability. For more information and updates, follow B2E CoLAB’s activities on social media via LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram.
