Degree in Biology at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, he completed his PhD in Aquaculture and Nutrition between the University of Algarve and the Norwegian Institute for Food, Fisheries and Marine Research in Bergen, Norway. Work carried out in the areas of F&B, food safety, market trends and new food products.
