Circular Economy in Animal Nutrition Course Advances in January
In partnership with B2E CoLAB, the Egas Moniz School of Health and Science is promoting the course “Circular Economy in Animal Nutrition,” a certified training focusing on sustainable practices for aquaculture, to be held online in January 2025.
This 8-hour course will occur on January 14, 15, 27, and 29, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. With only 20 spots available, it is an opportunity for professionals in the field to obtain certified training that contributes to the 40 annual hours required by companies.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the use of insects in fish feed production, an innovative approach that promotes sustainability and efficiency in animal nutrition. This training is aimed at professionals who wish to update themselves with the latest sustainable practices and contribute to the implementation of a circular economy in the sector.

The course “Circular Economy in Animal Nutrition – the use of insects in fish feed” is part of the InsectERA Business Innovation Mobilization Agenda, framed in the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), which brings together players from the entire value chain aims to explore the potential of insects as bio-industrial tools and bio-industrial solutions.
