B2E CoLAB is at Expo Fish Portugal

B2E – Blue Bioeconomy CoLAB was present at the latest edition of Expo Fish Portugal, the country’s largest event promoting activities linked to the sea. The 4th edition of this initiative took place on 14 and 15 November 2023 in Sesimbra, but networking meetings can still be arranged with B2E CoLAB until the end of December.

“Expo Fish was an important space for promoting and discussing maritime activities in Portugal. We actively participated in this event to strengthen partnerships and contribute to the development of the blue bioeconomy,” emphasised Maria Coelho, B2E CoLAB’s executive coordinator.

B2E CoLAB was present as an exhibitor in this virtual space, consolidating its role in promoting activities such as aquaculture, marine biotechnology and living marine resources. This event, supported by DocaPesca and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, stood out as a crucial meeting point for the discussion of issues relevant to the economy of the sea.

The previous edition was a success, with more than 2,000 online views, 450 registered visitors from more than 30 international markets and more than 300 meetings between the 80 exhibitors present. “The interactions and meetings held during Expo Fish were important for strengthening ties with partners and boosting innovative initiatives in the field of the marine economy, particularly in an area that was especially important to B2E CoLAB: the valorisation of marine co-products,” said Maria Coelho.

It was also announced that until the end of the year, interested companies can schedule meetings with B2E CoLAB to explore possible collaborations and development opportunities.
